It should be understood that these are unofficial copies only and the DEA Chairperson will only endeavor to keep track of and maintain the above manuals as current.

The DEA in regular session will discuss and adopt policy as follows:

• The draft policy is discussed and either rejected, adapted, and/or accepted by the members;
• All policies require three readings of approval, with no more than two of those readings being voted and approved at one meeting;
• The intent of break between readings and adoption is to permit the DEA to ensure that those individuals most affected by the policy have the opportunity to comment on it prior to third and final reading;
• The 1 st reading of a policy must be made in full, the second and final readings may be by title only.
